Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide essential care and support to adults with developmental disabilities . This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our individuals by assisting them with daily living activities, promoting independence, assisting them in achieving their goals, and vocational training.

  • Provide individuals care and support in accordance with individualized service plans.
  • Assist individuals with personal care needs (e.g., hygiene, dressing, toileting, eating).
  • Support individuals in participating in community activities, volunteer opportunities, and vocational training.
  • Safely transport individuals to and from activities and community outings.
  • Complete daily documentation, progress notes, and incident reports accurately and on time.
  • Advocate for the rights, dignity, and preferences of each individual

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Able to adapt to changing environment.
  • Able to multi task consistently.
  • Strong ability to follow instruction accurately.
