About Us

Since 2009, Children's Behavior Therapy (CBT) has provided high-quality ABA services for children and families across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. We're expanding our leadership team and seeking a BCBA Assistant Clinical Director to help guide clinical quality, staff mentorship, and program growth.

Position Summary

The Assistant Clinical Director manages day-to-day clinical programming, admissions, and supervision of BCBAs and RBTs.

This full-time salaried role includes approximately 10 billable hours per week during the first year, then transitions fully to full leadership once growth and QA goals are met.

The ACD meets weekly with the Executive Clinical Director / CEO and collaborates closely with the Vice President of Operations to align clinical and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical programming, quality assurance, and conducts report reviews.
  • Complete client intakes
  • Interview and hire BCBA's
  • Supervise and mentor BCBAs and RBTs.
  • Maintain oversight of prior authorizations, admissions, ensuring smooth transition from intake to service start.
  • Conduct internal QA audits and ensure payer compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Clinical Administrative Assistant on report timeliness and authorizations.
  • Identify and propose new program opportunities.
  • Conducts FBA's and develop reports
  • Protocol modification and caregiver training sessions.
  • Train on report development and meeting funder guidelines

Program & Growth Development

  • Drive program growth by expediting admissions and enhancing existing services
  • Plan capacity with the VPO (staffing & caseload forecasts) and propose new initiatives to the Executive Clinical Director for approval.
  • Lead implementation of approved programs, ensuring compliance and alignment with CBT's mission.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with caregivers, schools, and community partners. Collaborate to resolve concerns promptly and promote a high level of client satisfaction and service continuity.
  • Build referral relationships with schools, pediatricians, and community partners; conduct outreach and schedule meetings to strengthen partnerships, increase access to care and drive program growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with caregivers, addressing concerns quickly to ensure satisfaction and successful outcomes.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Executive Clinical Director / CEO and Vice President of Operations (VPO).
  • Clinical oversight: Provided by the Executive Clinical Director / CEO.
  • Works closely with both leaders to ensure coordination between clinical quality, admissions, and operations.

Leadership, Compliance & Engagement

  • Support compliance with Medicaid and private insurance documentation, and ethical standards.
  • Review clinical data and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Mentor future leaders and support staff retention through consistent engagement.
  • Represent CBT in community settings to strengthen professional partnerships and visibility.
  • Present monthly and quarterly updates on QA, admissions, and outreach outcomes to executive leadership. * Develop spreadsheet or report.
  • oversee CAQH and credentialing compliance; support credentialing and/or adding new employees to existing networks.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Sociology or related field.
  • Active BCBA certification (required).
  • 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid and commercial payer standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $68,000–$78,000 (W-2, Exempt).
  • Hiring Bonus: Up to $2,000 after 90 days.
  • Quarterly Performance Bonus: based on QA and growth metrics
  • Performance Review: Eligible for salary increase after 12 months based on program growth and leadership performance
  • Vacation: Accrues at 1 week per year (first 12 months).
  • Hybrid Schedule: On-site, community-based, and remote work.
