Operations Manager, Pharmacy

This position requires onsite presence and does not offer remote work options. Candidates must be available to work a rotating schedule which will periodically include working Sundays and Saturdays. Our Central Fill Pharmacy team is dedicated to supporting Walmart's mission by ensuring timely and accurate prescription fulfillment. We focus on improving operational efficiencies, maintaining compliance with all regulations, and delivering outstanding customer service. As a Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in achieving these goals and contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy operations.

• Oversee front and back-end pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations
• Implement operational improvements and manage workflow to optimize cost per prescription
• Forecast staffing needs and manage performance to meet business demands
• Collaborate with Home Office Replenishment to maintain proper inventory levels
• Supervise and develop pharmacists and pharmacy associates, fostering a team-based work environment

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in retail, central fill, or mail order pharmacy operations management, with a focus on quality and safety
• Strong analytical skills to prepare, review, and analyze business reports
• Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities to develop and motivate your team
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders

The annual salary range for this position is $92, $170,950.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

• Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
• Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 2 years of experience in retail, pharmacy, or supply chain OR 4 years of experience in retail, pharmacy, or supply chain.

1 year of supervisory experience.

Completion of a Board-approved program or Pharmacy Technician University program.

Must become a registered pharmacy technician in the state of practice within one year of job entry.
