About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to take full ownership of our SaaS product's development as our sole developer. You will assume complete responsibility for the entire codebase, transitioning all ongoing development, maintenance, and future enhancements from our current team. In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and evolve our web applications built on our established Microsoft technology stack. This includes end-to-end responsibility for both front-end and back-end development, database management with Azure SQL, infrastructure on Azure, deployments, and ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions. This is a full-time, fully remote position offering significant autonomy and direct impact on the product's roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain server-side logic using C# and .NET Framework 4.x (primarily 4.8 compatible environments).
  • Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Design, implement, and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in Azure SQL Databases.
  • Integrate APIs, including building and consuming RESTful services (e.g., ASP.NET Web API).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement new features.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices (e.g., SOLID principles).
  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and security enhancements for existing applications.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and potential modernization of legacy components.

Requirements

Essential:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with .NET technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms or MVC), and .NET Framework 4.x.
  • Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap for responsive design.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server/Azure SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Azure DevOps preferred).
  • Understanding of web application security best practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions) and cloud deployment.
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework or ADO.NET for data access.
  • Exposure to modern .NET (e.g., .NET Core/6+), JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular or React), or migration from legacy .NET Framework.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
