Responsibilities:

  • Extensive understanding of marine electrical systems and adherence to applicable standards.

Education/Experience:

  • ABYC Advanced Electrical Certification
  • ABYC Marine Corrosion Certification
  • Minimum 20 years of experience

Environment:

  • 80% of time spent onboard or driving to vessels in and out of water, primarily in local marinas or boatyards.
  • 20% in the shop or office environment.
  • Travel to domestic and international marinas and boatyards shall be required; however, the duration and location vary depending on the work.
  • Some bending, stooping, and lifting weights to 75 lbs. should be expected.
  • Non-climate-controlled and confined space environments should be expected.

  • The salary range for this position is $40 to $50 per hour, contingent upon the level of proficiency demonstrated in the skills mentioned above and the individual's educational qualifications and relevant work experience.
