We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman/Supervisor to lead our team on both builds and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a commitment to ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and ensure that all work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate field service activities, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems.
- Oversee the implementation of 4G/LTE and 5G technologies while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for low voltage and high voltage work.
- Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory and equipment necessary for project completion.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Utilize telecommunication tools to facilitate remote communication when necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the telecommunications or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of field service operations, including fiber splicing, cabling, and welding techniques.
- Familiarity with 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G technologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with both low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently when required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform tower construction activities including assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas, mounting hardware, installing coax and connectors, grounding, testing, positioning, and optimizing antennas and lines.
- Work with basic hand tools and safety equipment. Telecom test gear knowledge a plus.
- Basic electronic knowledge
- Utilize PPE in compliance with EHS requirements and industry standards
- Assist with testing new and existing equipment. May include sweep, PIM, or fiber testing.
- Maintain OSHA safety requirements at all times with the ability to follow EHS procedures and protocol
- Installation of RF and antenna system components such as (antennas, TMA's, RRU's, diplexers, coax, hybrids, grounding, supports, weatherproofing, connectors, hardware, etc.)
- Understanding and ability to process RFDS and read and execute construction drawings.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper system operation
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to take and understand written and verbal direction
- Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawing and support documentation, RF data sheets, and basic electrical concepts. be able to communicate both verbally and electronically.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

- Hard working and self-motivated
- Ability to work at heights greater than 100 ft.
- Coordinate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper system operation
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Required:
- Ability to work in all weather conditions except for unsafe or extreme weather conditions.
- Physically able to climb 1000 vertical feet per day
- Ability to travel and work in remote locations outside of the metropolitan area.
- Desire and ability to climb structures to heights in excess of 300' while carrying loads in excess of 50 pounds.
- Full-time, 40 hours/week. Overtime as needed.
- Travel is required 50% of the time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $36.00 per hour
