Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client's condition and goals.
- Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care routines to support ongoing wellness.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a relaxing environment and ensuring client comfort throughout each session.
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and updates in physiology knowledge to continually enhance service quality.
- Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a clean, safe treatment environment for clients and staff.
Skills
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques for pain management.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles to support workplace wellness initiatives.
- Previous med spa experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with aesthetic and therapeutic treatments.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
