THE TYPE OF LOSS PREVENTION SPECIALIST - RETAIL SECURITY SPECIALIST WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of industry experience, preferably in a retail setting
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Physical ability to engage in extensive walking throughout the shift
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems and basic security equipment
  • Knowledge of emergency response protocols and basic first aid
  • Integrity, honesty, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment

Security-related training or certifications are a plus.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR LOSS PREVENTION SPECIALIST - RETAIL SECURITY SPECIALIST

This position offers flexible scheduling, with full-time and part-time shifts available to meet your needs.

In this role, you'll conduct foot and mobile patrols, monitor CCTV systems, and implement theft prevention strategies. You'll greet customers courteously, address concerns professionally, and collaborate with store management to ensure compliance with loss prevention policies. Additionally, you'll respond promptly to emergencies, document incidents thoroughly, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for shoppers and staff alike.
