Position Summary
The Business Development Liaison will be responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships that lead to new patient enrollments. This role involves community outreach, relationship management, and strategic marketing to expand Touch of Love's presence among healthcare providers, managed care organizations, and community programs.
You will play a vital role in helping families navigate home care options and ensuring a seamless process from referral to enrollment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain professional relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, social workers, rehabilitation centers, and community organizations.
- Assist patients and families with initiating and completing the MLTC enrollment process.
- Conduct community outreach, presentations, and in-service sessions to promote Touch of Love Home Care Agency.
- Identify and cultivate new referral opportunities while maintaining consistent follow-up with existing sources.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, contacts, and referral metrics.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination from referral intake through patient start of care.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, health fairs, and local events to increase brand awareness and strengthen partnerships.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care marketing, healthcare sales, or business development preferred (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to build trust and maintain long-term professional relationships.
- High energy level, professionalism, and self-motivation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of MLTC programs, CHHA processes, and OPWDD services is strongly preferred.
- Must have a car and valid driver's license.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Hands-on training and onboarding provided for candidates with strong communication skills and initiative.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $55,000 – $75,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses.
