Part Time Guest Service Representative

***This position requires the employee to have a flexible schedule and to work 2-5 shifts per week***

Shift Hours:

  • Morning (6am-2pm)
  • Evening (2pm-10pm)
  • Overnight (10pm-6am)

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Part Time Guest Service Representative who embodies hospitality and guest service. The ideal candidate possesses an upbeat personality, is engaging, responsible, can think quick on their feet, and is adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Respond to guests' complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Skills

  • Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
  • Experience with hotel reservations software
  • Customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Degree in hotel management is a plus
  • Microsoft 365 knowledge (Word Documents)
  • Make rounds on property
  • Report any maintenance issues to the maintenance person

Requirements

  • Only interested serious candidates apply
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
  • Weekends (a must)
