Job Overview

As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational experiences of our youngest learners. Your enthusiasm and expertise will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. You will guide a team of educators, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and care while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education principles tailored for toddlers.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and developmental milestones.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively to promote positive behavior management strategies among students.
  • Provide hands-on care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
  • Conduct regular assessments of children's progress in areas such as social skills, language development, and motor skills.
  • Mentor and support fellow teachers in best practices for toddler care and early childhood education.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that reflects the interests of the children.

Basic qualifications

  • Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and toddler care practices.

Preferred qualifications

  • First aid certification to ensure the safety of all children in your care.
  • Background in special education or experience working with children with disabilities is highly valued.
  • Proven experience in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior among young learners.
  • Familiarity with caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting can enhance your approach to teaching.

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
