Inventory Control Manager

We are looking for a skilled Inventory Control Manager with finance-centric experience in both retail and warehouse operations to support the growing Ad Populum portfolio. This role will focus on implementing inventory control processes, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, developing and providing oversight into system integrations related to inventory and inventory reporting. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating across departments to enhance reporting, oversight, and controls around inventory across the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily inventory levels
  across retail and warehouse locations to ensure stock accuracy across multiple systems and operating companies.
• Design, implement, and monitor inventory audit programs
  to verify record accuracy and investigate discrepancies related to receipts, fulfillments, on-hand quantities, and adjustments.
• Develop, implement, and enforce standardized inventory control processes
  across all distribution centers in alignment with company policies and industry best practices.
• Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies
  and develop scalable, long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Create and maintain detailed inventory reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  to track unit levels, accuracy rates, and variance trends.
• Train, coach, and support retail and warehouse teams
  on inventory management procedures, including receiving, fulfillment, transfers, and adjustments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Operations
  to resolve inventory-related issues and optimize data integrity across systems.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
  , maintaining readiness for internal and external reviews.
• Leverage technology and automation tools
  to streamline inventory tracking, reconciliation, and reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in inventory control, retail operations, or warehouse management.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and retail point-of-sale (POS) software.
• Experience in Sage X3 a plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., Excel).
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and an analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various teams.
• Familiarity with retail inventory best practices and industry regulations.
• Certification in inventory management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CIRM) preferred.
• Experience with inventory management methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma preferred.

The hiring range for this remote position is between $120,000 and $130,000 per year.
