Job Summary

Join The Mini Donut Company, a donut shop that was named Best of San Diego 2024 by San Diego Magazine We are hiring for our Westfield UTC mall location in the food court.

Duties

  • Prepare, fry, decorate, and serve our mini donuts according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate cashless Square POS system
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food served.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during peak hours.

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation and knowledge of culinary techniques is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Square POS, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
  • Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
