Our Client, a Global Finanical Services Firm, is seeking an Advertising Marketing Manager in their Jersey City, NJ location.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Advertising team plays a critical role in developing marketing efforts and touchpoints to acquire new prospects. This role sits within the Brand & Advertising team and supports the development and execution of integrated advertising campaigns.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will have creative production experience, familiarity with financial services (nice to have), and experience working at an advertising agency or on the client side. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Head of Advertising in developing a new advertising campaign, including TV commercials, paid social assets, and integrated launches across marketing channels (organic social, website, internal channels, PR, etc.)
- Serving as the primary point of contact for agency partners from creative development through production
- Managing internal reviews and providing clear, actionable feedback and direction to the creative agency
- Overseeing campaign timelines, ensuring stakeholders are informed and projects remain on track
- Managing production budgets, working with cost consultants and agency partners to ensure efficiency and competitive rates
- Coordinating with media teams regarding channel requirements, platform specifications, delivery timelines, and more
- Overseeing the trafficking and delivery of assets to media partners, ensuring specifications are communicated and final dispatch runs smoothly
- Supporting an Advertising Analyst by providing oversight and guidance
- Bringing experience developing broadcast creative for major brands; understanding pre-production, production, and post-production processes
- Demonstrating strong social expertise across both paid and organic channels, including platform best practices and user experience
- Developing clear, compelling presentations in PowerPoint
- Assisting with special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS (Required or Preferred)
- 6–8 years of relevant experience
- Deep understanding of advertising best practices and marketing principles
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to brand creative style and tone
- Highly organized with strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership
- Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Experience managing a direct report is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented, hardworking, and resourceful
- Proactive problem solver who can manage and complete projects independently
- Process-oriented but adaptable when needed
- Familiarity with developing PowerPoint presentations is a plus
