Full Job Description
The team is looking for a talented reverse engineer, ideally on an Android platform. You would contribute to a small team building a secure and resilient automation framework. To do this, we need to build reliable and scalable code that can rapidly deliver value to our customers. We are looking for a talented engineer who takes pride in delivering high quality, maintainable solutions that are able to be deployed and used at regular intervals.
Responsibilities:
- Able to work in a small team to design, build, integrate, and test components into a deployable distributed system
- Able to instrument and reverse engineer Android applications as needed
- Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle: research, design, develop, test, SCM, code review, CI/CD, troubleshooting / support, and performance measurement
- Able to travel on occasion to support testing and integration events. Two one-week integration planning events are anticipated at a minimum, but additional opportunities are available if desired
Required Qualifications:
- Android system internals, including patching, reverse engineering and instrumenting Android applications
- Expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Kotlin
- Strong communications skills, including the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- A U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
Hold a degree in computer science or computer engineering- - or equivalent hands-on experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Android development, including full-stack applications
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Experience with Python
- Experience with setting up Man in the Middle proxies to instrument applications
- Background in cryptography, privacy, virtual private networking, distributed computing protocols
- Experience in commonly used communications protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTPS, TLS
- Experience evaluating open-source code for suitability to satisfy program objectives and making modifications as needed
- Experience with full-stack development in a Linux environment
