Job Details Job Location: Lenbrook Square Foundation 3747 Peachtree Rd NE - Atlanta, GA 30319 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $ $19.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

Assure that each resident receives treatment, medication and diet as prescribed.  Assist residents with activities of daily living. Provides physical comfort, safety and a watchful, protective oversight of all residents.

Responsibilities: 

•  Keep assigned resident's apartment and belongings clean and in order.

•  Make beds every day, changing linens per facility policy and as needed.

•  Obtain vital signs and weight monthly and as assigned.

•  Administer and document medications as prescribed by the physician in an efficient and timely manner.

•  Keep resident charts and records current, neat and orderly.

•  Assist with transfers and be knowledgeable of safe transfers.

•  Complete training and required testing to properly administer medications.

•  Ensure resident privacy, respect and dignity at all times.

•  Detect and respond to any emergency, fire and disaster according to training and policy and procedure.

•  Provide maximum resident care services to assure the well-being of the resident.

•  Provide proper care to prevent decubitus ulcers and contractures.

•  Implement designated activities for residents.

•  Report any change of condition, to include cognition, physical ability or emotional wellbeing to the Assisted Living Nurse or in their absence the Assisted Living Manager.  

 

Qualifications

Education and experience required:

•  CMA Certification 

•  CPR/FIRST AID

•  Experience in long-term care or assisted living/personal care for a minimum of 1 year

Schedule: Every Thursday 7am-7pm and PRN as needed

Pay: $19.00
