Pediatric Occupational Therapist- OTR/LHourly EmployeeRequired Locations: Spring Lake, MIPosition type: Part-Time (20 hours)Hours/Days: ~8:30am - 6:15pm (2 days/Week) - Days are FlexibleStart Date: ASAPGood candidates:We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist with strong pediatric experience, as this position will require a very independent and confident OT.Candidates with advanced trainings and certifications in various areas of pediatrics are preferred. At Sensational Steps, we support the DIRFloortime approach and specialize in sensory integration, feeding, listening therapy, and handwriting. The DIR model is truly at the heart of our practice and it is vital that our therapists feel comfortable having a caregiver participate in therapy and also offering parent education to support carryover. We would like for our therapist to have experience in a couple of these areas, but we are also excited to add therapists that have additional interests and specializationsJob RequirementsCurrent OT Michigan licensureNBCOT CertificationPediatric experienceMust have driver's license and be willing to travel between local schools (minimally)Afterschool availability each work dayPreference: Two years of experience as an OTR, but accepting
