Has experience and expertise to solve problems affecting both short term and long-term business goals.Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
  • Drive Supplier Quality Assurance and Development, including supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance monitoring.

  • Assist key suppliers in achieving industrial standards of excellence.

  • Become a certified expert (Certifying Agent) in Chemical Processes such as cleaning, stripping, etching, plating, anodize, paint, and DFL.

  • Document technical data for assigned projects in alignment with engineering policies and procedures.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance First Time Yield and delivery performance.

  • Collaborate with Design and Materials Engineers to improve manufacturability and producibility.

  • Conduct supplier audits, identify gaps in quality systems, and drive corrective actions to closure.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Chemical Processing disciplines and execute functional policies/strategies.

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide informal guidance to new team members.

  • Solve problems using technical expertise, analytic thinking, and collaboration across teams.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in Engineering or as a Chemical Processing Level III).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Chemical and/or Metal Finishing Processes.

Desired Characteristics
  • Familiarity with Nadcap System and Audit requirements for Chemical Processing.

  • Advanced degree in Material Science, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering preferred.

  • Expertise in specification requirements, process design, and control for Chemical Processing.

  • Strong technical aptitude in manufacturing equipment and tooling design.

  • Experience leading initiatives in Chemical Process and Product Development & Introduction.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for audits, conferences, or troubleshooting.
