Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience in our establishment, whether it be in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or catering event.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service delivery.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting needs to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given and maintaining accountability for cash drawer.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality while serving guests at the bar or during banquet events.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bartender in the food industry, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with various POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus, along with knowledge of brewing techniques for craft beverages.
