Job Description
Role Summary:
As a Merchandise Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting the Merchandising Team with various administrative and operational tasks to maintain up to date and accurate purchasing and inventory details of new and existing items to aid in ensuring a consistent delivery flow of quality merchandise is available in stores and online. This role is responsible for maintaining purchase order and item record information within internal data system as well as support team with various administrative tasks as needed for operation of the retail stores and website. The Merchandise Coordinator must be able to clearly communicate and collaborate with internal and external business partners.

What To Expect In The Role

  • Be a key contact for our vendor partners to ensure that purchase orders are up to date, accurate, and shipping during approved ship window.
  • Responsible for item set up and maintenance within NetSuite.
  • Enter and maintain Purchase Orders with up-to-date information
  • Establish and maintain line of communication with vendor partners to track purchase order shipping progress.
  • Verify data for items/purchase orders by comparing it to source documents and/or business partners.
  • Verify and enter vendor costs and retail costs are up to date and meeting markup expectations set by Merchandising team.
  • Verify and maintain current vendor contact information
  • Various other administrative duties as assigned Merchandising team.

  • Proficient in working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Comfort in operating in company wide data bases and ERP systems to maintain data integrity.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior merchandising and/or corporate retail experience preferred.
