Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assisted Living Coordinator to oversee daily operations within our senior care community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in long-term care, and experience managing resident care plans. This role involves coordinating staff, ensuring quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The Assisted Living Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a compassionate environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for our residents.

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans for residents with diverse needs, including dementia care.
  • Supervise and support caregiving staff, including training and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate medical and medication administration processes in accordance with healthcare standards.
  • Manage daily operations related to assisted living services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to optimize resident care and satisfaction.
  • Monitor resident safety and well-being, responding promptly to any concerns or emergencies.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency within the facility.
  • Lead efforts in staff scheduling, recruitment, and retention to maintain adequate staffing levels.
  • Promote a positive environment that supports residents' social activities and engagement programs.

Experience

  • Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings with a focus on senior care.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within long-term care facilities or group homes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations management, including budgeting and financial acumen related to long-term care services.
  • Experience in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols and compliance standards in healthcare settings.
  • Prior work involving social work principles or home & community care is highly desirable.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach toward residents' well-being.
