The library offers collections in multiple languages, a full range of cutting-edge electronic resources and customer-focused public services.This Library Clerk II position will be in the Collection Services department under the supervision of the Physical Collections Manager.The position exists to perform clerical assignments which require the exercise of judgment based upon on-the-job experience. Detailed instructions are given at the beginning of each new work assignment, but employees work with independence.Library Clerk II responsibilities will include:Running reports from a variety of sources.Organizing and building spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.Using Polaris (PPL's Integrated Library System).Working in vendor websites.Physically handling and discarding materials.IDEAL CANDIDATEKnowledgeable and skilled in:Following verbal and written instructions completely and accurately.Modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.SALARYPay Range: $16.07 to $23.74 per hour.Hiring Range: $16.07 to $17.72 per hour.Pay Range Explanation:Pay range is the entire compensation range for the position classification.Hiring range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.Internal Only: Please understand that this is pay grade 327.
