Our salon specializes in kid-friendly haircuts that are fun for children and stress-free for parents, serving kids of all ages and abilities. There's no need to bring your own clientele—our appointment-based salon system keeps your schedule full and your tips consistent.
What We Offer
- Competitive Hourly Pay + Tips at$14/hr during training, then $15/hr after training. With tips, most hair stylists and barbers earn $22–$35/hr, depending on speed and experience.
- Steady Salon Traffic: Stay busy withfull appointment books—no need to build your own clientele.
- Family-Friendly Salon Hours: Monday–Friday: 10am–7pm; Saturday: 9am–5pm. Closed Sundays and major holidays.
- Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling, guaranteed lunch breaks, and a schedule that respects your life outside the salon - we only require stylists to work two Saturdays a month.
- Positive Team Culture: Supportive leadership, ongoing training, and opportunities for growth in a fun salon environment.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and prepared for your scheduled shifts.
- Provide high-quality, child-friendly haircuts in a welcoming salon atmosphere.
- Bring your own clippers, trimmers, and scissors (all other salon supplies are provided).
- Receive and apply feedback and coaching from the manager and ownership to improve skills.
- Submit time-off requests at least two weeks in advance.
- Confidently answer client questions and recommend retail products.
- Work at least two Saturdays per month (salon is always closed on Sundays).

- A valid Utah cosmetology or barber license.
- A genuine love for working with children and families in a kid-friendly salon environment.
- A positive, team-oriented salon mindset.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional work habits.
