DESCRIPTION

  • Are you outgoing and enthusiastic about interacting with people? If promoting the best brands to today's shoppers sounds appealing, a position as a Costco Roadshow Sales Representative with us, is the place for you We are looking for part time Sales Representative who will promote products, share knowledge an put their selling to the test when engaging with consumers.

Hourly Wage:

  • $20/hour - $25/hour

Working Conditions :

  • Primarily on-site in a retail environment, standing up to 10 hours per day
  • May require lifting of heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
  • Weekend and evening availability as needed for customer demand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement : Greet and assist customers on the sales floor, providing knowledgeable guidance on specific roadshow products.
  • Product Expertise : Demonstrate knowledge of roadshow products educating and illustrating key features and benefits to consumers.
  • Consultative Selling : Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs, lifestyle requirements, and budget, helping them make informed decisions.
  • Sales Goals : Meet and exceed roadshow sales goals and performance targets by effectively communicating product value and closing sales.
  • Product Demonstrations : Provide hands-on demonstrations highlighting key features, and product quality.
  • Order Processing : Guide customers through the order process, filling out the appropriate forms for smooth check out experience.
  • Roadshow Display Setup & Teardown:Work with store personnel to locate event materials in back area of warehouse and receive direction on where the display area is to be located. Setup booth area according to previously communicated directions and assist with teardown and packing once the roadshow concludes.
  • Store Maintenance : Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the display area and sales floor to ensure a welcoming environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications :

  • Immediate availability to get on job training starting Nov 13th from Thursday through Sunday.
  • Proven experience in retail or sales, knowledge of the Costco working environment is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to learn and retain product information quickly and explain complex details simply.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Located in Bay Area to manage regional activities.
  • Daily Commutable distance to San Jose and Fremont.
