Our team builds security and privacy analysis infrastructure for Google Play and Android to detect malicious and abusive apps. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to product or system development code to build detection technologies that protect Android users from security and privacy threats.
  • Design and build automated, static program analysis frameworks at Google scale.
  • Design and build secure, helpful, code-exploration-based reverse engineering tools.
  • Research and propose new ideas to detect trending malware and abusive apps using static analysis.
  • Collaborate with other teams in the organization and Google to deliver impact.
