Provider and Partnership Specialist

Overview:
The Provider & Partnership Specialist strengthens relationships with local healthcare providers to expand access to innovative, evidence-based treatment options for patients with Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD). This role is education-focused, not sales-driven, and plays a critical part in improving patient outcomes through collaboration, clinical education, and coordinated care.
Clinical Education & Outreach
- Conduct regular outreach through in-person visits, calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Deliver educational presentations and "lunch & learns" focused on TRD, treatment pathways, REMS, and collaborative care.
- Engage psychiatrists, therapists, hospital teams, and primary care providers using a professional, education-first approach.
Territory Strategy
- Identify and segment referral sources such as hospitals, psychiatric practices, IOPs, and therapists.
- Build and manage a territory plan using CRM tools.
- Review outreach performance and adjust strategy as needed.
Relationship Building & Care Coordination
- Serve as the main point of contact for partner providers.
- Ensure a seamless, high-touch onboarding process for new referral partners.
- Maintain clear communication between external clinicians and internal care teams.
- Support issues related to intake, documentation, and prior authorization.
Compliance & Administration
- Document all activities in the CRM accurately.
- Follow all regulatory and compliance standards (HIPAA, AKS, Stark Law).
- Manage administrative tasks such as expenses and field budgets.
- Strong clinical understanding or ability to learn TRD/MDD concepts quickly.
- Ability to explain REMS requirements and treatment processes clearly.
- Familiarity with insurance, including Medicare/Medicaid, commercial plans, and prior authorizations.
- Strict commitment to healthcare compliance and ethical standards.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Minimum 2+ years in B2B relationships, partnerships, or sales within a regulated industry (healthcare, pharma, finance, etc.).
- Comfortable being in the field 60%+ of the time; must have a reliable vehicle and clean driving record.
- 2–5+ years as a provider liaison, clinical liaison, MSL, or specialty pharmaceutical representative (psychiatry/CNS a plus).
- Existing relationships in Westchester or Rockland Counties.
- CRM proficiency and strong organizational skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to independently execute and refine territory plans.
Introductory 90-Day Period
- Guaranteed stipend equivalent to $60,000 annualized.
- Bonuses for completed education sessions, new certified referral partners, and hospital partnerships.
- Target conversion metrics: 100+ weekly outreach activities, 8+ educational sessions, 3+ new certified partners.
Full-Time Compensation After 90 Days
- Base Salary: $80,000–$95,000
- Annual Bonus Potential: $20,000–$35,000 (quarterly payouts)
- Compliance-based KPI bonus model.
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate.
