Our fast-growing, family law litigation firm is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join our dynamic team. We are located in Chicago's vibrant River North neighborhood, steps from the Brown Line L stop.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate has experience supporting family law attorneys in a litigation-focused practice, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is exceptionally organized. You should be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, managing deadlines, and communicating professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, draft, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, financial disclosures
  • Manage attorney calendars, court dates, and deadlines
  • Maintain and organize client files
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits and witness coordination
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Monitor and track case progress to ensure timely filings and compliance with court orders

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal in family law preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of the Illinois court system and e-filing procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Clio (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience.
