Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sulphur, LA, for an Environmental Coordinator. The Environmental Coordinator will oversee and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, develop and maintain environmental policies, and monitor environmental performance. The role includes conducting impact assessments, addressing environmental issues, and working collaboratively with internal teams to implement sustainable practices. Responsibilities also involve staying updated on relevant environmental laws and regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Policy development.
  • Understanding of Environmental Issues and conducting Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Familiarity with Environmental Law and its application to industrial practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to handle complex environmental challenges effectively.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the petrochemical industry or related fields is a plus.
