Embroidery Operator

Full time: Monday-Friday

7:00 am to 4:00 pm

We are seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator who is comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a team environment. Primary duties include operating a multi-head industrial size embroidery machine, running orders, and meeting daily deadlines while maintaining overall quality. Prior experience is preferred, but we will train suitable candidates. This is a part-time position. Pay is relative to experience and/or the skill set of the applicant.

Responsibilities of Embroidery Machine Operator:

-Efficient and safe operation of multi-head embroidery machinery; consistently meets goals

-Maintains understanding of the operating procedure in the department

-Performs quality production at reasonable speeds, taking full advantage of the equipment available

-Ensures that targets are met for quality, productivity, and lead time with minimal misprints

-Make necessary machine adjustments with minor downtime

-Operates, maintains, and performs routine service on any equipment used in the completion of these tasks

-Maintains a clean, well-organized work area, and adheres to safe work practice

Requirements of Embroidery Machine Operator:

-Ability to stand for an extended period time while using hands and arms

-Ability to work safely with moving machinery

-Good vision with the ability to discern color

-Solid verbal and written skills with the capacity to communicate clearly

-Basic math skills

-Must be punctual and reliable

Skills & Characteristics of Embroidery Machine Operator:

-Capable of working as a team member as well as an independent self-starter

-Able to apply common sense and strategic thinking in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

-Detail oriented with a high standard of quality

-Possesses accountability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
