Dallas, Texas, United States FieldPulse Full time $104,000 per year

We are looking for our first dedicated Mid-Senior UI/UX Designer to own the end-to-end design process, from research to high-fidelity mobile and web deliverables. This is a crucial, high-impact role for a designer who is ready to move fast, execute quickly, and translate complex industry problems into simple, actionable experiences for our thousands of customers.

Where You'll Work:
  • Full-time, in-office at our headquarters in Dallas, TX.
  • You'll be right in the heart of the action, surrounded by a team of passionate, high-energy individuals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What We'll Do

As our first full-time Product Designer, you will be expected to be a scrappy, hands-on leader who thrives on ambiguity. Your primary focus will be to own the design vision, creating new product designs and features while strategically revamping existing legacy interfaces using user-validated practices to measurably improve customer workflows and efficiency.

  • Design and Deliver Cross-Platform Experiences: Own the design for our core platform features, including complex mobile-first solutions for technicians in the field and robust web applications for office staff.
  • Focus on Core FSM Workflows: Design highly efficient interfaces for critical field service management tasks, such as Scheduling & Dispatching, Invoicing, CRM/Customer Management, Payments, and Work Order Management.
  • Drive User Research & Insights: Partner directly with Product Managers to plan, execute, and report on user research (including user interviews and usability testing) to gather critical insights, validate problem definitions, and inform design strategy.
  • Rapid Prototyping and Validation: Quickly create wireframes, user flows, and low- to high-fidelity prototypes (leveraging tools like Figma and AI prototyping) to translate ambiguity into simple, elegant designs, and then conduct validation to ensure user acceptance before development.
  • Build the Foundation: While moving quickly on features, you will also be responsible for contributing to and expanding a scalable design system/library across our web and mobile applications to ensure consistency and speed.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure designs are understood, implemented to a high standard, and iterated upon based on data and real-world usage.
What We're Looking For
  • 3–7 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership.
  • Proven ability to design exceptional experiences for both complex web applications and mobile apps (iOS/Android).
  • Deep proficiency in Figma and extensive experience creating high- and low-fidelity prototypes quickly to support rapid development cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing user research (user interviews, usability testing) and translating insights into clear design recommendations.
  • A pragmatic and outcomes-focused approach—you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and prioritizing execution over excessive documentation and process.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering with engineers and product managers.
  • Bonus Points: Experience designing for B2B/SaaS, complex data visualization (e.g., dashboards/reports), or consumer applications.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Covered Medical Insurance
  • Dental and Vision Benefits
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Fun, fast-paced startup culture—you'll be able to work on projects that make a huge impact
  • Catered Lunches Monday - Friday
  • Class Pass, Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and Peloton subscriptions
  • 401k
  • Transparent career growth, professional development, and promotional opportunities
