Located in the heart of Scottsdale, the Central Scottsdale Surgery Center (CSSC) is a physician-owned Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) that specializes solely in plastic surgery. We are actively seeking a qualified and experienced PRN Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated clinical team, specifically in the Pre-Operative, Operating Room (OR), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) departments. CSSC partners with over 10 surgeons, offering our patients a tailored healthcare journey that caters to their individual needs and preferences, ensuring an outstanding experience.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at CSSC, you will assume responsibility and accountability for:

  • Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.
  • Promoting the delivery of safe, quality care to every patient, with particular emphasis on their experiences in the Pre-Operative, OR, and PACU.
  • Providing an outstanding experience for our patients by providing patient-centered care and implementing adopted CSSC Policies and Procedures.
  • Illustrating personal ownership and promoting a team-oriented mindset that strengthens collaboration in our patient-centered ASC.
  • Coordinating comprehensive perioperative care by communicating with patients and surgeons' offices to ensure all pre-surgical requirements are fulfilled. You will guide patients through the surgical process, optimize them for surgery, and ensure seamless workflow and continuity of care before and after their procedures.

Job Qualifications:

Schedule & Availability Requirements:

  • Open Availability or 4 days availability/week, Monday-Friday required for scheduling.

License & Certification Requirements:

  • Current Arizona RN License (BSN Preferred)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Experience:

  • RN experience in fast-paced setting required
  • Pre-Operative, OR, or PACU experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

Pay Range: Based on experience

Pay: $ $46.00 per hour
