Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant who can also work as a Cashier. This role supports daily kitchen operations and assists with front-of-house customer service when needed. Responsibilities

Kitchen Assistant Duties:

  • Assist with food preparation (washing, cutting, portioning ingredients)
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and work areas
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools
  • Help with stocking supplies and organizing inventory
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Cashier Duties:

  • Greet customers and take orders accurately
  • Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions
  • Answer basic menu questions and provide friendly service
  • Pack orders and ensure accuracy before handing to customers
  • Keep cashier area clean and organized

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy hours
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to learn
