As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your customer service and communication skills will support a welcoming atmosphere. You may respond to situations involving patient restraint and interact with specialized hospital areas such as vaccine distribution and the morgue. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs at the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills.
• Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols, including those related to healthcare environments, confidentiality, and patient privacy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
• Must be able to work in hospital morgue environments.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
