Job DescriptionSalesforce Developer
Photonics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our growing IT team and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-tech manufacturing company. As a Salesforce Developer, you will interface with business and IT resources to ensure timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements. The Salesforce Developer is responsible for implementation, management, and evaluation of all phases of the (SFDC) system, and will partner with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in SFDC that support business requirements and processes. The ideal candidate is a diligent, hardworking individual who is able to learn new systems and processes rapidly, can work with little supervision and is capable of delivering outstanding work at all times.
DUTIES:
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs
Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC application
Develop custom applications and performing unit testing using APEX and Visualforce pages
Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues
Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
Perform data migration using Data Loader
Perform ongoing Salesforce administration (create accounts / profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards etc.) and development
Ability to support configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals
Handle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions
Maintain security for data
Interface with business analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products
Research integration issues and work closely with team members on operations and development staff
Research and development of new prototypes and applications
Research and keep current on technologies and communicates trends and future needs from a business perspective
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications
Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with client
Participate and engage in all team meetings
Document best practices and operational procedures
Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
3+ years of proven experience as a developer using Visualforce, APEX programming, , APIs
3+ years of IT programing experience, ASP.NET C# or
Proficiency in programming using APEX, Visual Force, Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML5 and the use of these tools with
Familiarity with best practices, support mechanisms, procedures and limitations is required
Experience with management of sandboxes, including their integrations
Ability to analyze complex systems, and troubleshoot and isolate system issues.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks
Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Salesforce developer certification
Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM software development methodology
Experience with MS Dynamics NAV
Experience with ServiceMax
2+ to 5 years experience
Management Experience Required - No
Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
