What You'll Do:
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
- Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, maintaining accurate logs as required by site-specific policies.
- Assist with the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control.
- Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors and personnel as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to communicate observations and/or incidents as appropriate.
- Support emergency response activities when required, in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
