*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance/Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a large apartment community, units, buildings and grounds. This role involves a variety of tasks related to garden care, landscape maintenance, and overall grounds upkeep. The Groundskeeper will work closely with other team members to ensure that all areas are well-kept and inviting. *Duties* - Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass. - Execute landscape maintenance duties such as planting, pruning, and weeding to enhance the beauty of the grounds. - Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to ensure optimal growth and health. - Utilize both power tools and hand tools for various landscaping tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed. - Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or improvement. - Maintain pathways, flower beds, and other outdoor features to ensure they are clean and free from debris. - Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as needed. *Experience* - Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. - Familiarity with garden care techniques, including irrigation systems and plant care. - Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. - A strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices is a plus. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
