Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Landscaper to join our dynamic team dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing landscapes through a variety of tasks, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will help create inviting gardens, lush lawns, and stunning hardscape features that delight clients and elevate outdoor aesthetics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a range of tools and machinery, and contribute to the beauty of our community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to maintain healthy turf.
  • Execute landscape maintenance activities such as pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and mulching to promote plant health and visual appeal.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for installation or renovation projects.
  • Install and repair hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements using appropriate techniques.
  • Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules.
  • Conduct seasonal snow plowing operations to keep pathways clear during winter months.
  • Assist with tree care including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture with a strong understanding of lawn care and landscape maintenance practices.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other landscaping machinery.
  • Familiarity with gardening techniques and plant care principles to ensure healthy growth and vibrant landscapes.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with a team-oriented attitude for collaborative project execution.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is advantageous for equipment operation or transportation needs.
