Key Responsibilities Include

  • Providing psychological assessments and interventions for students
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support student success
  • Developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting services as needed
  • Maintaining compliance with state and district policies

Qualifications And Experience Required

  • Valid Alaska certification and licensure as a school psychologist
  • Experience working within elementary education environments
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 600 students
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
