Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Loan Servicing Specialist – Mortgage
to join our team. This role involves reviewing mortgage-related documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper servicing of loans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review documentation to ensure mortgage servicing processes are followed accurately.
  • Manage pipelines for assigned loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and audit 1098/1099 documents.
  • Verify rate adjustments and ensure required notices are issued within timelines.
  • Audit bankruptcy documentation for proper handling of loans in bankruptcy status.
  • Ensure loan payments are processed and applied correctly.
  • Confirm proper filing of claims to mortgage insurance providers.
  • Audit collection and loss mitigation processes, including notices and credit reports.
  • Validate escrow account functions and execution.
  • Review loans impacted by FEMA-declared disaster events for appropriate assistance.
  • Audit foreclosure documentation for timely and compliant completion.
  • Review Lender-Placed Insurance (LPI) processes for correct notice and removal.
  • Ensure all eligible loss mitigation programs are offered and finalized.
  • Verify payoff statements and lien releases accuracy.
  • Confirm proper transfer of loan-servicing records and documentation.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • 2–3 years of U.S. mortgage servicing experience
  • Strong understanding of mortgage servicing processes, loan documentation, and industry terminology

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage complex and escalated issues effectively
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Flexibility to work night shifts

Education:

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma or equivalent
