Senior Manager, Membership Technology Operations

This technology enablement role is focused on activating and aligning technology across member institutions and internal teams. This position drives the adoption of platforms like Salesforce (NAIA Connect), supports member and staff engagement with technology tools and applications, and ensures smooth execution of tech initiatives through training, documentation, communication, and project management. Ideal for someone passionate about empowering users, streamlining processes, and enhancing the member experience within a nonprofit, higher education, and athletics-focused organization.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead tracking and reporting on technology projects.
- Support prioritization and alignment of tech initiatives with organizational goals.
- Support change management with messaging tailored to rollout strategy and adoption objectives.
- Lead project management processes, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and transparency in timely delivery.
- Provide training for internal staff, ensuring consistent use of core platforms (e.g., NAIA Connect, Microsoft 365, Zoom, etc.).
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation for the technology department.
- Develop and deliver clear internal communications supporting software rollouts and technology initiatives.
- Deliver technology training and communications to member institutions, focusing on Salesforce (NAIA Connect).
- Support member engagement at conventions, fall meetings, and conferences, as needed for technology support, communication, and member training.
- Proactively manage member communications, contact updates, and interactions within NAIA Connect.
Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, business, or information systems, or related field or experience.
- 3 - 5 years of related business or technology support experience.
- Experience in nonprofit or higher education settings, preferably within intercollegiate athletics.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, Zoom, and Salesforce products.
- Strong communication and training delivery skills.
- Detail-oriented with experience in documentation and project management.
