Regional Tax Director
to oversee multiple tax offices, drive quality and consistency, and mentor high-performing teams.

Role Overview

The Regional Tax Director is a senior leader responsible for guiding multiple offices within a region. This role blends strategy with day-to-day support—providing technical oversight, developing office leaders, and ensuring outstanding client service.

You will be the connective tissue between firmwide initiatives and regional execution, shaping culture, process improvements, and operational excellence

What You'll Lead


• Oversee multiple tax offices and ensure alignment with organizational goals


• Guide office leaders and foster a collaborative, growth-focused culture


• Provide technical expertise on complex returns and engagements


• Identify and implement regional strategies and process improvements


• Build and maintain strong client relationships


• Conduct recurring staff meetings, training, and performance guidance


• Represent clients with IRS, state, and local tax authorities


• Support change management, technology adoption, and talent development

What Makes Someone a Strong Fit

We're looking for candidates who bring:

10+ years of tax experience

CPA or EA (required)

Expertise in 1040 review and complex planning

Experience managing $100M revenue or passthrough entities

Ability to lead and develop teams across multiple locations

Strong GAAP & multi-state tax knowledge

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in the tax process

Compensation & Schedule

, hybrid flexibility (minimum 3 days/week onsite)
