Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high-quality standards.

- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all food handling and preparation activities.
- Coordinate menu planning and assist with recipe development to keep offerings innovative and appealing.
- Manage inventory control and food production schedules to optimize resources and minimize waste.
- Lead shift management duties, including delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Oversee special functions, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional service and quality food.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards at all times.
- Support training initiatives for new team members in food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or catering operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and inventory control practices to ensure efficient stock levels.
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for handling, storage, and sanitation.
- Background working in hospitality environments that emphasize exceptional service delivery and team leadership.
