PICS Inventory is seeking a skilled Web and Application Programmer with strong experience in Microsoft .NET and C#. You'll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and supporting applications that drive our business operations. This position involves coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, code, and implement server-based and workstation-based applications using .NET, C#, and related technologies.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers, designers, and project managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Maintenance & Updates: Enhance existing software, improve functionality, and maintain code libraries for efficiency.
- Technical Support: Provide application support and resolve user-reported issues.
- Testing & Debugging: Perform thorough testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application stability and performance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tools/technologies
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred). Equivalent practical experience in software development will also be considered
- Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SQL and database-driven applications
- Experience with version control (e.g., TFS/Azure DevOps, Git) (Preferred)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., SaaS, ) (Preferred)
- Familiarity with reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting) (Preferred)
- Familiarity with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of additional languages (C/C++, etc.) (Preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework
