Schedule / Shift

12-hour night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, 36 hours per week. Candidates will work a 3-1-3 schedule or a 6 on/8 off schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neuro stepdown nursing and demonstrate flexibility in their availability to float between units as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a neuro stepdown unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in scheduled team meetings and educational opportunities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Active MS RN license.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a neuro stepdown or related critical care environment is preferred.
