As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Woodbridge, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the location.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide assistance to customers, tenants, and/or employees as needed, including offering directions or information about the location.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities in written reports as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
