About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to maintain and improve our plant's electrical systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot electrical issues, install new equipment, and ensure our systems operate efficiently and safely. Your expertise in electrical schematics and PLC systems will be crucial to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, focusing on minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Install and wire motors, switch panels, and power circuits to support plant operations.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical equipment.
  • Collaborate with experienced electricians to enhance PLC programming skills and system performance.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Qualifications

Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in industrial electrical work or related technical field.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using diagnostic tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety codes and regulations.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and Allen-Bradley systems.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Certification or advanced training in electrical systems.
