Fukuryu Foods makes Columbus's best casual Japanese foods to supply our restaurants in Columbus. We take pride in teamwork, consistency, and attention to detail — we're looking for a reliable Warehouse Driver to help keep our operations running smoothly.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Driver plays a key role in the logistics of Fukuryu Foods. This position involves safely operating company vehicles to deliver and pick up bulk food products, assisting with warehouse organization, and ensuring all goods are handled with care and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company delivery vehicles for local and regional deliveries.
  • Load and unload heavy bulk food products (up to 45 lbs) using proper techniques and equipment.
  • Verify and record deliveries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of shipments.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine pre-trip inspections.
  • Assist with warehouse tasks such as receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with the warehouse and restaurant teams to coordinate deliveries.
  • Follow all safety, food handling, and company policies at all times.
  • Ability to ensure food safety and prevent hazardous situations for food and personal safety.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).
  • Prior warehouse or delivery experience preferred.
  • Able to lift and move heavy items (up to 45 lbs repeatedly).
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable driving a large cargo vans.
  • Warehouse and delivery experience a plus.
  • Experience with food safety a plus - training provided.

Schedule:

  • Part-time morning hours. Tuesday and Friday 8 am until around 1 pm
  • Occasional weekends or overtime as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
