Role Overview
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented professional to assist with the maintenance, configuration, and support of clinical software used across our imaging and diagnostic services. This position focuses heavily on radiology applications and workflows, providing system expertise to staff such as technologists, radiologists, and other clinical team members.
Candidates with prior radiology IT experience—or familiarity with Radiology Information Systems—will be especially strong fits.
What You'll Support
This role provides system build, troubleshooting, and enhancements for a wide range of imaging services, including:
- X-ray, CT, MRI, mammography, nuclear medicine, PET, interventional imaging, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy
- Radiologist reporting workflows
- Technologist workflows
- Integrated third-party systems and applications
- Both on-site and mobile imaging operations
You will work closely with clinical leaders, technologists, and radiology professionals to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Your Impact
- Gain a deep understanding of clinical information systems, their workflows, and how they connect with other tools throughout the organization.
- Assist in designing, testing, implementing, and refining new and existing features within clinical systems.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, install updates, and help plan improvements to clinical applications.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to optimize system workflows and support the evolution of our electronic health record environment.
- Contribute to project teams during system rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Maintain documentation such as training materials, troubleshooting guides, and system reference information.
- Support users through on-call rotations and serve as a resource to colleagues.
- Participate in quality and process-improvement efforts aimed at enhancing patient safety and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold
one
of the following current licenses or certifications in their state of practice:
- LPN or RN
- COTA or Physical Therapist Assistant
- EEG Technologist
- Certified Medical Assistant (various certifying bodies accepted)
- Certified Surgical Technologist or Tech in Surgery
- Occupational or Physical Therapist
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist (various certifying bodies accepted)
- Respiratory Therapist
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Speech-Language Pathologist
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist
- Medical Technologist (ASCP or AMT)
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Two or more years of experience supporting clinical systems or applications
- Software-specific training or certification for the systems supported
