Job Overview:

A well-established and busy construction company is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to manage day-to-day office operations and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and capable of handling a variety of administrative and accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

· Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner

· Prepare and submit monthly sales tax reports to the state

· Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

· Handle bi-weekly and quarterly tax reporting

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

· Support general administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations

Qualifications:

· Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is required

· Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
