Role Overview
The central technology and data platform at BAM is seeking an experienced product manager and business analyst to lead the scaling of a critical offering for BAM's investment teams. This Lead will oversee the product's development processes and manage relationships with customers to ensure the best delivery and experience possible and help drive returns for portfolio managers.
As product lead, your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead product planning and sprints for the engineering team to ensure on-time feature delivery
- Work with customers to understand their product needs and use cases
- Optimize engineering processes and accompanying workflow systems to make engineers more efficient, including identifying how to best incorporate AI
- Handle performance metrics for the team, including reporting to customers and leadership
Qualifications
- 10 years' experience in product management, data science or data analysis, engineering, or other adjacent roles
- Financial services experience is ideal
- Deep familiarity with SQL and other databases (MySQL)
- Python experience is ideal
- Strengths in sprint and project management, product management best practices and workflows
- Verbal and written communication is critical
